Scope and Related Notices
This Privacy Policy applies to the Training A GOAT Services that link to it. A particular program, event, retreat, product, community, research project, promotion, or transaction may include an additional privacy or consent notice. If an additional notice conflicts with this Privacy Policy for a specific activity, the more specific notice controls for that activity.
Our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice applies to personal information that identifies or may reasonably be linked to an individual’s physical or mental health, fitness, nutrition, wellness, bodily condition, health-related purchase, or attempt to obtain a health-related service. That notice supplements this Privacy Policy and controls if there is a conflict concerning consumer health data.
This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party websites, services, or platforms that publish their own privacy policies, even when we link to or integrate with them.
Personal Information We Collect
“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual or household. Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect the following categories.
Contact and Identity Information
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, postal or shipping address, country, age confirmation, username, profile name, social-media handle, and similar identifiers.
Account and Community Information
We may collect login credentials, account settings, profile information, membership status, community activity, posts, comments, direct messages sent through a platform, reactions, uploaded files, and moderation or support history. Passwords should be stored in hashed or otherwise protected form by the applicable platform; we do not need access to your plain-text password.
Transaction and Commercial Information
We may collect records of products, programs, subscriptions, coaching, events, retreats, merchandise, supplements, or other Services you considered, applied for, purchased, returned, canceled, or used; order and shipping information; subscription and payment-plan status; coupon or referral information; and customer-service records.
Payment card and bank-account information is generally collected and processed by payment providers such as Stripe. We may receive limited payment information, such as payment status, billing name, card brand, last four digits, transaction identifier, and fraud indicators, but we do not intend to store complete payment-card numbers.
Application, Coaching, Fitness, Nutrition, and Wellness Information
If you apply for or participate in a program, coaching service, community, event, retreat, assessment, or related experience, we may collect information you voluntarily provide about your goals, body measurements, weight, body composition, physical activity, exercise history, nutrition, dietary preferences or restrictions, allergies, sleep, habits, injuries, symptoms, health history, medications, current care, accessibility needs, progress, and other physical or mental wellness information.
This information may be sensitive personal information or consumer health data. We collect and use it only as described in this Privacy Policy, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice, an activity-specific notice, and any consent presented when the information is requested.
User Content and Submissions
We may collect stories, questions, comments, ideas, reviews, testimonials, survey responses, photographs, progress images, audio, video, podcast or interview submissions, event recordings, and other content you choose to provide. Public posts may be visible to other users or the public. Private program information and progress content will not be used in public advertising without additional permission.
Communications and Marketing Information
We may collect the content and metadata of emails, text messages, calls, support requests, direct messages, survey responses, and other communications; your communication preferences; the source, date, time, and language of consent; and your subscription, opt-out, and suppression history.
Device, Internet, and Usage Information
We and our technology providers may collect IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP address, pages or screens viewed, referring and exit pages, links clicked, session dates and times, video interactions, campaign identifiers, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic, security, and performance information.
We do not intend to use facial recognition, voiceprints, fingerprints, or other technology to identify you through biometric characteristics unless we first provide a specific notice and obtain any consent required by law.
Inferences
We may derive limited inferences from the information above, such as likely interests, content preferences, program eligibility, engagement level, or customer segment. We do not use solely automated decision-making to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects unless we provide any notice and rights required by law.
How We Collect Personal Information
We may collect personal information:
• Directly from you when you browse, register, apply, purchase, participate, post, communicate, complete a survey or assessment, attend an event, or otherwise use the Services.
• Automatically through cookies, pixels, local storage, embedded media, logs, software development kits, and similar technologies.
• From service providers that help us operate payments, communications, community features, video, analytics, advertising, shipping, fulfillment, security, and support.
• From podcast guests, event partners, referral sources, sponsors, or other people when they lawfully provide your information.
• From social networks or other third-party platforms when you interact with our pages, use a platform connection, or make information publicly available.
• From public sources when relevant to research, media production, guest outreach, rights clearance, security, or fraud prevention.
How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
• Provide, personalize, administer, and improve the Services.
• Process applications, registrations, orders, payments, subscriptions, payment plans, deposits, refunds, cancellations, shipments, and account changes.
• Deliver programs, coaching, communities, digital products, events, retreats, merchandise, supplements, media, newsletters, and customer support.
• Create individualized fitness, nutrition, accountability, educational, or coaching experiences when you request them and provide the necessary information.
• Communicate with you about transactions, accounts, safety, program delivery, scheduling, policy changes, and support.
• Send marketing emails or text messages when permitted by law and consistent with your choices.
• Produce, distribute, and promote podcasts, interviews, documentaries, research, stories, events, and other media, subject to applicable releases and permissions.
• Operate community features, enforce conduct standards, moderate content, and protect users.
• Measure audience engagement, video performance, website use, marketing effectiveness, and conversion activity.
• Maintain security; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, account compromise, prohibited conduct, and other harmful activity.
• Comply with law, legal process, tax and accounting requirements, product safety obligations, and enforceable requests.
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce our agreements.
• Conduct internal administration, audits, quality assurance, recordkeeping, and business planning.
• Complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We will not use consumer health data for targeted advertising, and we will not use private health, coaching, or progress information in public advertising without separate permission.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following, as applicable:
• Contract: Processing necessary to take steps at your request, provide the Services, administer an account, process a transaction, or perform an agreement with you.
• Consent: Processing based on your freely given permission, including certain marketing, cookies, recordings, testimonials, and health or other sensitive information. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to lawful limits and without affecting processing already completed.
• Legitimate interests: Processing reasonably necessary for operating, improving, securing, measuring, and protecting the Services; communicating with existing users where permitted; preventing fraud; and establishing or defending legal claims, after considering your rights and reasonable expectations.
• Legal obligation: Processing necessary to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, product-safety, law-enforcement, court, regulatory, and other legal requirements.
• Other lawful grounds: Processing otherwise permitted under applicable law.
For health information treated as special-category data under applicable law, we rely on your explicit consent unless another lawful condition clearly applies. You may decline to provide health information, but we may be unable to provide a requested personalized program or service without information reasonably necessary to do so.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, embedded scripts, and similar technologies. These tools may include:
• Strictly necessary technologies used for security, account access, checkout, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent records, and core functionality.
• Preference technologies used to remember language, settings, and choices.
• Analytics and performance technologies used to understand website traffic, video engagement, errors, and how the Services are used. These may include Google Analytics and Vidalytics.
• Embedded-media technologies used to deliver video or other content, including YouTube and Vidalytics.
• Advertising technologies used to measure campaigns, limit repetition, create audiences, or deliver relevant advertising, including Meta Pixel and related tools.
Where law requires prior consent, nonessential technologies will be disabled until you make a choice. You can change your choices through the Cookie Settings control. Blocking some technologies may affect functionality.
We do not intentionally place advertising or general analytics technologies on fields or pages in a manner that transmits the substance of health questionnaires, body measurements, progress photos, nutrition information, coaching notes, or similar consumer health data to advertising or general analytics providers.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Where required by law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal and, when we can reasonably associate the signal with your account, for the account. You may need to send the signal from each browser or device you use.
Some browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a universally accepted standard for interpreting Do Not Track signals, we do not respond to them unless required by law. GPC is handled as described above.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Service Providers and Processors
We use providers to host, secure, communicate, process payments, deliver community and video functions, analyze performance, support advertising, ship products, operate events, and provide professional services. Current or anticipated providers include:

• Stripe for payment processing, billing, fraud prevention, and transaction administration.
• Skool for community, membership, course, and engagement features.
• Zoom for video meetings, coaching calls, webinars, and events.
• Vidalytics for video hosting, playback, and performance analytics.
• Microsoft 365 for business email, documents, communications, and administration.
• Google Analytics and YouTube for website analytics and embedded video, subject to applicable consent choices.
• Meta Pixel and Meta platforms for advertising, measurement, audience, and social-media functions, subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices.
• Hosting, security, customer-support, shipping, fulfillment, event, venue, travel, product, supplement, accounting, legal, insurance, and other operational providers selected as the Services expand.
These providers may process information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law. Their own independent activities may also be governed by their privacy notices.
Other Users and the Public
Information you post in a public profile, public discussion, comment area, event, interview, podcast, or other public feature may be seen, copied, or used by others. Information posted in a member community may be visible to other community members. Please do not post information you do not want the relevant audience to see.
Business Partners, Guests, Sponsors, and Affiliates
We may disclose information to a co-host, event partner, guest, sponsor, affiliate, referral partner, or other business partner when necessary for an activity you request, when we tell you at collection, or when you consent. We do not give sponsors your contact information for their independent marketing unless we clearly disclose that arrangement and obtain any consent required by law.
Advertising and Analytics Partners
Subject to your choices and applicable law, we may disclose identifiers, device information, internet activity, and commercial or engagement information to advertising and analytics partners. This activity may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under certain privacy laws even when no money is exchanged.
We do not disclose consumer health data to advertising partners for targeted advertising.
Professional Advisers and Legal Recipients
We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, banks, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, courts, and other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, respond to legal process, or establish or defend claims.
Corporate Transactions
We may disclose information in connection with due diligence, financing, investment, reorganization, bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. A recipient will be required to handle personal information consistently with applicable law and any commitments that continue to apply.
With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information when you ask us to or give us permission.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising and analytics technologies may nevertheless constitute the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or processing for “targeted advertising,” under certain U.S. state laws. Depending on your location, you may opt out through Cookie Settings, a Your Privacy Choices link, a recognized GPC signal, or by emailing us.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18. We do not sell consumer health data and do not process consumer health data for targeted advertising.
No mobile information will be shared with unaffiliated third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with service providers that support our messaging program is permitted only as necessary to provide those services. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Email and Text Messaging Choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may continue to send non-promotional messages concerning transactions, accounts, safety, program delivery, or legal notices.
You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE, or by using another reasonable method communicated to us. You may receive one non-promotional confirmation message. For help, reply HELP or email [email protected]. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase.
We process opt-outs as soon as reasonably practicable and within the period required by law. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining business and transaction records, complying with law, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, protecting users, and preserving valid consent and opt-out records.
Our intended baseline schedule is:
• Account, membership, and community administration records: while the account or membership is active and generally up to three years afterward.
• Transaction, tax, accounting, payment, and contract records: generally seven years or the longer period required by law.
• Program applications, coaching records, and consumer health data: generally for the program term and up to three years afterward, unless earlier deletion is requested and no legal exception applies.
• Customer-support and ordinary communications: generally up to three years after the matter closes.
• Marketing contact information: until you unsubscribe or we determine the information is inactive; suppression records may be kept longer to honor your opt-out.
• Cookie, device, and analytics data: according to the lifespan disclosed in Cookie Settings and generally no longer than reasonably necessary for the stated purpose.
• Testimonials, public submissions, and media content: for the period described in the applicable release, license, or submission terms; withdrawal may not affect lawful uses already made or materials that cannot reasonably be recalled.
• Security, fraud, and legal-claim records: for as long as reasonably necessary to protect the Services or establish, exercise, or defend claims.
These are baseline periods, not promises to retain every record for the maximum duration. We may delete or de-identify information earlier. Backup deletion may occur on a delayed cycle. When retention is no longer necessary, we will delete, de-identify, or securely isolate the information as appropriate.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where appropriate, vendor review, personnel confidentiality, data minimization, backups, monitoring, and incident-response procedures.
No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your login information, using unique passwords, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
If a legally reportable security incident occurs, we will provide notices to affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law.
International Data Transfers
Training A GOAT LLC is based in the United States, and many of our providers operate in the United States and other countries. Your information may therefore be processed in a country whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live.
Where required, international transfers will be supported by a recognized legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, contractual protections including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the United Kingdom’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard. You may contact us for information about applicable transfer safeguards.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:
• Know or confirm whether we process your personal information.
• Access personal information and obtain a portable copy.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete personal information.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent.
• Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.

To submit a request, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Request and describe the right you wish to exercise. To appeal a denial, use the subject line Privacy Appeal and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. We will request only information reasonably necessary for verification. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification with you. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Additional U.S. State Privacy Disclosures
This section supplements the rest of the Privacy Policy for residents of U.S. states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws.
During the relevant lookback period, we may collect the following statutory categories: identifiers; customer-record information; protected-class characteristics you voluntarily provide; commercial information; internet or electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; audio, electronic, visual, or similar information; professional or employment-related information provided in an application or story; education information voluntarily provided; sensitive personal information, including account credentials and health or wellness information; and inferences.
We collect these categories from the sources and for the purposes described above. We disclose them to the recipient categories described above. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics except as reasonably necessary to provide a service you request or with legally sufficient consent. We do not offer a financial incentive in exchange for personal information unless we first provide the notice required by law.
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, if that law applies to us. California residents may also request information concerning certain disclosures for direct marketing under California’s “Shine the Light” law where applicable. Our response to GPC and Do Not Track signals is described above.
Residents of states that provide an appeal right may appeal using the process above. If an appeal is denied, we will provide information about contacting the relevant state regulator when required.
EEA, UK, and Swiss Disclosures
If European data-protection law applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You also have the right to object at any time to processing for direct marketing. When we rely on legitimate interests, you may object based on your particular situation.
You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority where you live, work, or believe a violation occurred. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter.
Training A GOAT LLC does not currently have an establishment in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If applicable law requires us to appoint a local representative, we will publish the representative’s contact details in this Privacy Policy before the relevant targeted activity begins.
Canadian Disclosures
Training A GOAT LLC’s Privacy Lead may be contacted at [email protected]. Canadian residents may request access to and correction of personal information, withdraw consent subject to legal and contractual limits, and challenge our compliance. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial privacy regulator.
For commercial electronic messages sent to Canada, we will seek consent where required, identify the sender, include contact information, and provide a working unsubscribe mechanism.
Other Countries
Privacy laws in Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries may provide additional rights. Where applicable, you may contact us to exercise those rights or complain to your local authority. Mandatory local rights are not limited by this Privacy Policy.
Children and Teenagers
The Services are intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Youth-oriented educational content, if any, is directed to parents, guardians, educators, or other adults rather than to children as account holders or purchasers.
If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact us. We will investigate and delete the information when appropriate. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 18.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to, embed, or integrate with third-party websites, social networks, video players, payment services, communities, event providers, shipping providers, or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We are not responsible for independent third-party practices, and a link does not necessarily imply endorsement.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, vendors, or the Services. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last Updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
